   Want to get stronger?

Brett Paulsen is a qualified Personal Trainer and competitive Powerlifter in which he holds an Australian Deadlift record for his age and weight class.

He applies strength-based training methods to achieve results. Whether his clients’ goals are to get stronger, lose weight, get fitter or be able to move better pain free, having a solid strength base and good lifting technique is essential to reaching those goals.

He has built a Private Gym Studio which is well equipped, clean and air-conditioned. This allows him to train his clients in an environment they are comfortable in, especially those with sensory issues or prefer not to train in a public gym.

Brett believes results should be long-term and goals specific to each individual. His programming is designed to be realistic, sustainable and affordable.

Brett enjoys working with all ages and abilities, however, does have a special interest in working with individuals who are 40+ as that is an age group that can benefit massively from a strength training routine. *

*All clients must complete a pre-screening form for safety purposes.

Personal Training

Brett offers personal training sessions in his private studio gym. He is able to work with people 16+ years of age and of various abilities.

You may be looking to improve your performance in your particular sport or be able to comfortable and confidentially perform in everyday task, Brett can help with your overall strength and conditioning.

Strength training is proven to be a more effective method for weight loss than a purely cardio based program (such as H.I.I.T), so is perfect for individuals looking to lose weight or manage their weight.

He will also identify and manage muscle imbalances and mobility issues.

Brett offers:

  • Custom programs
  • Strength focused training
  • Sustainable & safe approach
  • Confidential and private sessions

Strength sports are a passion for Brett, particularly Powerlifting and Strongman.

He enjoys competing and coaching.

He applies techniques learnt from those sports and their training implements and incorporates them into his clients’ programs.

Exercise selections are individually based on the clients’ abilities and goals and programs are designed for progressive overload to ensure progression.

No generic programs are used.

Mission Statement

I want my clients to develop bodies that are robust and resilient to allow them to participate in life to the fullest.

I want a clientele base that rejects the Fitness Industries marketing scams, its manipulative imagery of what success looks like and its current fashionable training methods and accept the reality of the dedication and effort required to achieve any significant goal of real change.

I want clients that do not wish to succumb to societies ideology on how you should behave due to their age or gender.

I want my clients to change dreams to goals and accept challenges as opportunity for growth.

Whether they want to perform in competition or be able perform in everyday life, I will train my clients to be strong in the gym so that they are also strong in life.
